The 26th Summer Universiade came to an end in Shenzhen not long before. With distinguished guests and friends from all over the world gathering in Shenzhen again, we will create and witness distinctive marvels in the China Hi-Tech Fair 2011. Integrating into one achievements transaction, products exhibition, high-level forums, investment attraction projects and communications and exchanges, China Hi-Tech Fair, a large-scale technical exhibition known as “The No.1 Science and Technology Show in China”, is the largest and most influential fair at home. It acts as an effective platform for cooperation and transformation of hi-tech achievements, an important stage to display and merchandize the latest hi-tech products and a famous platform for high-end intelligence to collide and communicate. Guests from nearly 80 countries all over the world attended the past China Hi-tech Fair,of which there were nearly 30 countries or international organizations such as America, England, Germany and Canada and more than 40 well-known enterprises such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Siemens, Ericsson, Philips, Sony, etc. Elites from such fields as politics, education and enterprises, including Nobel Prize winners, government officials at ministerial level or above from each and every country as well as CEOs in multinational corporations were present at the forums in the past China Hi-Tech Fairs. China Hi-Tech Fair is playing an increasingly important role in promoting the industrialization and internationalization of hi-tech achievements and enhancing economic and technical exchanges and cooperation among countries and regions.

 

After its rapid slump and rough recovery since the financial crisis, the world economy has continued its slow and winding growth in 2011. Closely focusing on the global economic situation and China’s economic development strategies, this Hi-Tech Fair has set six plates, i.e., transactions of hi-tech achievements, hi-tech specialized show, China hi-tech forum, super-SUPER special events, hi-Tech human and intellectual resource exchange and a year-round fair, themed with promoting international innovation and cooperation and speeding up the transformation of development modes. It mainly highlights new technologies and products that play a major role in boosting industrial restructuring and the improvement of people’s livelihood, new achievements and trends of emerging strategic industries, new channels and effects that facilitate the import and export of hi-technologies and equipments and international cooperation, as well as new approaches and methods that accelerate the transformation of hi-Tech achievements.

 

As the world economy is currently under a new situation of slow recovery, profound adjustments and comprehensive restructuring, we will further improve the level of internationalization and specialization of China Hi-Tech Fair, strengthen its function of promoting transactions and introducing technologies, optimize its exhibition structure, and improve its service level to provide for all guests and businessmen professional, efficient and considerate services.
